Description
I'd like to thank the following people for use of their awesome stock!
It was so hard to find the right picture because I wanted Merida to be aiming directly at the audience, and somehow I came across this amazing picture:

I did heavily edit the hair, but it wouldn't have been possible without this stock. She looks just incredibly like Merida, and the stock is a Daily Deviation!

This is part of my series Seven Disney Sins. I'm making one photomanipulation for each of the Seven Deadly Sins and representing each one with a different Disney princess. This sin is Wrath. I actually had a hard time thinking of which princess to portray. I think that most of the Disney princess really don't fit that quality. A lot of the Disney princess can be a bit spunky, but you wouldn't say that they have an anger management problem. They usually fit under the category of "rebellious," and it's usually portrayed as annoying when they're angry. The same is definitely not true for male Disney protagonists. Beast is incredibly angry, but Belle is so angelic that she teaches him not to be a jerk (everyone, this never works in real life). Shang gets mad all the time because he's so rigid. And there are a lot more like that.
I chose Merida for Wrath for a bunch of reasons. I couldn't choose a princess who was genuinely angry all the time because she simply doesn't exist, so I had to choose one who was rebellious. My main choice was going to be Jasmine, but I changed my mind. Although Jasmine gets angry at Aladdin, she doesn't really do much about it. If I were to make her as Wrath, she'd probably have her arms crossed staring at the window or something like that. I didn't want to include another character in there, so I really couldn't put Aladdin in. Merida works better because she has that visually component of the bow and arrow. I really wanted to do a picture where she was pointing her arrow straight at the audience because it really draws you in. She's also probably the only Disney princess who kills things on purpose (no, she's not homicidal, but she hunts and fishes. You wouldn't see Ariel doing that!).
All of the princesses have blood, but this one has the most. It thought it would appropriate because of the violent nature of Wrath.
These are the ones that I've finished so far!
Gluttony: Snow White
Sloth: Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) [I did two because the original one wasn't the Disney version, so I wanted to see if I could make a better one that looked just like Aurora.]
Pride/Vanity: Belle (Beauty and the Beast
The ones I have left are: Lust, Greed, and Envy. I plan to have Tiana as Greed, Ariel as Envy, and I'm not really sure who I would choose for Lust because all the princesses except Merida spend a lot of time focusing on their love interest. Of course, I'm always changing my mind about these things!
Oh, and I'm also planning to do Seven Disney Virtues with one Disney villain per virtue. Sort of the opposite thing.

I love this project! I hope you'll also make the other three! (or four, since you're redoing Pride. I love it that you have so much consideration for the rules ^^ )
