Hey! I know I haven't been here in ages, but I'm back! I can't promise that I'll be here all the time forever, but I'm here now. I'm trying to get to used to deviantART again, especially since it's changed a lot since the last time I was here. I missed this community, and I really hope to connect with people again. I'm trying to become active in my groups, but it is hard because there is so much work to do! Speaking of groups, I just created a group called Love of All Genders! My previous group Love Sees No Gender got hacked really badly, and I am sorry that many of you had to put up with all the disgusting content that whoever hacked it put in it. Back from absence + monthly contest updates
Hi guys! This is the admin SavvyRed. I don't know if you all noticed, but I wasn't active in June. I had two asthma attacks in two days, and I had to spend weeks in bed. I couldn't really do much online because I was really, really tired. Sorry about that! I know I seem to take random absences, but I truly couldn't help this one because I was sick, and it came unexpectedly. But I'm doing OK now, so I'll be more active! I'm still in COVID-19 quarantine (no, I don't have it, but I'm staying indoors), so I should have lots of time. Thanks to ImpulsiveSpidercide for helping out when I was gone! As for the update, I just wanted to let you guys know that the Comic Character of the Month features will be in the gallery rather than in the group journal. The reason for this is because Eclipse makes it nearly impossible to make a decent feature that doesn't hours upon hours for a few pics. I'm not really sure why deviantART chose to make features hard, but I'm guessing that they just

Disney Heroines hosts a special contest called "Disney Heroine of the Month Contest." Every month, SavvyRed chooses a Disney heroine character, and Disney Heroines members submit artwork based on that character. In months where there are few submissions, we may choose some existing submissions of the character for the contest, but please enter all entries by submitting them to the Disney Heroine of the Month folder. One winner is chosen for each month, and the winner gets 10 deviantART points, a permanent place for their winning work in the Featured section of the group they submitted it to. Eclipse: Everything confuses me! HELP!
Hello, everyone. I just came back to deviantART from a temporary sabbatical. I've used Eclipse for maybe five minutes now, and I AM SO CONFUSED!!! Please help me, if you can, by answering any of these questions that I have about Eclipse and deviantART: 1. Do all journals look like this now? 2. Can I make a journal that has a journal skin? 3. Can I put images in a journal and not just some stupid "cover"? 4. Is there any quick way of getting to my notes inbox? 5. Can I still make journal art features? 6. I noticed I couldn't refine my searches for deviations. Is there any way I can search for deviations that include categories like Digital Art, Fanart, etc.? Thank you for reading this even if you can't answer any questions. I'm getting frustrated with this, and I sorely miss being able to navigate deviantART easily. Hopefully, I will get used to this.
